Fresh raspberries and summer fruits abound in this refreshing, light red wine. Dornfelder is an ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean style meals.
Very light red – can be drunk chilled for a great summer refreshment, or as a red would traditionally be served at room temperature.
Winemaker Notes
Dornfelder is a relatively recent arrival on the wine scene, created in 1956, it is named after Immanuel Dornfeld, a founder of the school of viticulture in Weinsberg. Dornfelder makes a light red wine, and due to its good acidity and occasional hint of sweetness we also use it to produce our Rosé.
