We are delighted to be hosting our 11th annual food and drink charity event, Taste the Best of Produced in Kent, on Sunday 11th June 2017, from 11am till 4pm at the vineyards, Gribble Bridge Lane, Biddenden, TN27 8DF.
The all-day event is in aid of Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust, who provide helicopter emergency medical services and air ambulance services to sick and injured people across South East England, with all stallholders’ fees and any money raised on the day going to this great cause.
Biddenden’s food day showcases a range of great produce the county has to offer. Organised with support from Produced in Kent, visitors will have the opportunity to meet, taste and buy from a wide variety of Kentish producers specialising in cheeses, preserves, sauces and chutneys, pies, fudges, beers and liqueurs, honey, ice cream, wool, crisps, meats and game and much more.
Our vineyard shop will be open as usual for tastings of all our award winning sparkling and still English wines, ciders and juices. Ploughman’s lunches and refreshments will also be available. Visitors are additionally invited to take the opportunity to follow the self-guided tours round the vines and take in the beautiful Kentish scenery.
Julian Barnes, Managing Director at Biddenden, comments: “Our annual Taste the Best of Produced in Kent food festival is a fantastic family day out and a great opportunity to support a local charity whilst discovering some of the best food, drink and produce Kent has to offer.”
