Tasting Notes

A lovely nose of soft apple blossom and gentle apricot lead to a palate that is just dry but deliciously fresh and easy to get along with. The apricot follows on from the nose and is combined with rounded citrus fruits - mainly subtle orange and lemon. Produced from Ortega grapes, this wine is just great on its own but will work very well with white fish dishes and salads.
Delivery Information

Orders placed before 2pm are dispatched same day on a next working day service, although this cannot be guaranteed. Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched next working day and orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on Monday, excluding bank holidays which will be next working day.

"Biddenden was one of the first vineyards to plant Ortega in the UK in the early 1970’s. Today Ortega covers just over half of the vineyard. Ortega grapes ripen early and are known for their low acidity and high sugar levels. Ortega is widely used in dry still wines, and can also be used to make sweet wines."
