Biddenden Vineyards have scooped four bronze medals at this year’s WineGB Awards, awarded to Biddenden Bacchus 2018, Gribble Bridge Dornfelder 2020, Gribble Bridge Demi-Sec Sparkling Ortega 2018 and Gribble Bridge Sparkling Rosé 2017.
Showcasing one of the world’s most exciting wine regions, the calibre of judges and competition partners make the WineGB Awards the major competition for Great Britain’s wines and wine producers. This year’s judging took place earlier this month, with a dedicated judging panel chaired by Susie Barrie MW and Oz Clarke OBE.
Over 300 entries were received – a record number – with 37 Gold, 137 Silver and 131 Bronze medals being awarded.
Biddenden’s awards cover a variety of wine styles – a testament to the consistent quality of wines produced at Biddenden including both still & sparkling as well as sweet wines.
