The Wine Garden of England returned to Rochester Cathedral for the second annual Wine Garden of England festival held in the Crypt on Saturday 16th November 2019.
Biddenden, along with six fellow Kent vineyards, offered tastings of five specially selected wines each with the chance to meet the owners & winemakers to find out more about the vineyards, their production methods and stories.
Evensong on the Friday evening prior was dedicated to blessing the grape harvest, something which is becoming a tradition for the Cathedral and guests were then treated to a pre-tasting and canapés in the Crypt to launch this year’s festival.
The Wine Garden of England consists of seven of Kent’s very best vineyards who have come together to promote Kent as the wine destination for England. More information may be found at https://www.winegardenofengland.co.uk
