The 2018 vintage of our Sparkling Cider, made by the traditional method using Kent apples pressed here at Biddenden, has now been released and is available to purchase from the vineyard shop as well as online for home delivery. The cider has also undergone a rebrand and we are very excited to launch our new label, which matches our sparkling Gribble Bridge wines, a nod to the winemaking method used to produce the bottle fermented cider.
Made to the traditional method here at Biddenden, where locally grown culinary & dessert apples, including Cox & Bramley, are pressed before being fermented in-tank to produce the base cider. It is then bottled in a sparkling wine style bottle and undergoes a secondary fermentation in-bottle to produce a dry, fruity cider at 9% abv which may be enjoyed as an aperitif or to accompany a meal.
Visitors to the vineyard shop are able to taste the sparkling cider as well as buy both by the glass and the bottle, or alternatively it may be ordered online for home delivery via our online shop.
