During the Mayor’s speech, she commended the “outstanding contribution that Biddenden Vineyard has given to tourism in our area, in addition to the profile it has achieved for English wines” having “led the way in producing award-winning wines, ciders and juices.”
Cllr Webb also referenced Biddenden’s role within some of Kent’s key organisations including Produced in Kent, the Kent County Show, the Ashford & Tenterden Tourism Association as well as being a founding member of the Wine Garden of England.
Praise was also given for the hard work & dedication put into the business and the fact that the next generation in Julian & Sally’s sons are following in their footsteps as part of the family business.
It is a privilege to receive recognition of this kind and we will be displaying the certificate of achievement proudly in the vineyard shop, do look out for it next time you visit.
