Biddenden Vineyards has raised nearly £500 for the Caldecott Foundation, nr Ashford from donations received at their free guided tours. The Foundation was chosen as Biddenden Vineyards’ charity for 2012, along with the Kent Air Ambulance for whom their annual food and drink day is held.
The Caldecott Foundation cares for the most vulnerable children in the UK who have suffered cruelty and neglect, providing a full range of care services. They launched their Centenary appeal to run through 2012, to raise £750,000 to build their own vocational learning centre, which was opened earlier this month.
